The Dream Room – Only at Gardner’s!

The Dream Room at our Outlet and Clearance Center, on Lincoln Hwy East (next to the Adidas Outlet and Dickey’s BBQ)

One thing that separates us from the Big Box competitors, besides our transparent pricing policy, our Sleep Assessments, our outstanding Customer Service, winning Lancaster Newspaper’s “Reader’s Choice” Award 5 years in a row and our witty, handsome sales team, is The Dream Room.

The Dream Room is a unique find in the sea of mattress shoppes because the philosophy behind it is simple: Try Before you Buy.

We know how difficult it is to sort through the task of buying a new mattress. With so many unique and varied options, it’s easy to get overwhelmed with data, propaganda and overbearing, pushy salespeople who don’t see clients walking through their front doors, they see big floppy dollar signs. We do things a bit differently here at Gardner’s. By addressing individual concerns one may have (allergies, hot sleepers, acid reflux, etc.) and matching you up with your best options, we take your sleep very seriously. Once you narrow your choice down to one or two options, you still may not know if it’s the right choice for you. This is where Gardner’s Dream Room comes in handy.

The process is simple. Let us know which  mattress you’d like to try before you buy. A $50 deposit (which acts as a deposit on whichever mattress you choose) is placed and an appointment is made. We suggest booking 1-3 hours for your appointment. On the day of your appointment, we’ll set up the Dream Room with your preferred mattress. All the sheets and pillows are provided, although some people like to bring their own pillows. When you arrive, you’ll be shown to the Dream Room and given the privacy to converse with a spouse, watch some TV, read, or simply take a nap! You’d be surprised at the number of customers who have fallen asleep while testing out mattresses!

A few tips for your time in the Dream Room: As you test out the mattress, feel for pressure points and support of the mattress, as well as how your pillows work with the mattress. A good pillow is an important part of a new mattress. Try out the adjustable foundation, lift your head and feet up to a “Zero Gravity” position to feel the pressure leave your lower back. You may not want to purchase one, but at least you can say you’ve experienced one!

If the mattress you’ve tested feels supportive and comfortable, and once all your questions are addressed, let us know if you’re ready to purchase it. It’s an important decision that should be made with your health and comfort in mind.

As a “Cherry-On-Top” bonus, every mattress purchased through the Dream Room process comes with a 1 Year Comfort Guarantee, backed by Gardner’s.
